Promise was offered for sale through a broker in 2010. There was considerable interest but no buyer at the $74500 asking price.

Only a few of this design have been sold recently. I was informed that the selling prices were between $85k and $110k. Research: Tropic Bird, Last Unicorn, and Providence.

The Brochure price for a new Vancouver 36 with only basic equipment was $129k in 1980. In 2018 dollars that would be over $400k.

A condition and valuation survey is welcome. Promise is on the hard now and can be floated at buyer's expense if needed.
