After 30+years, two Atlantic crossings, and thousands of miles of ocean cruising, it is time for someone else to become steward of this fine little ship. Just over a dozen of these Robert Harris designed cutters were built and they have earned a reputation of being one of the best of the small passagemakers. My estimate is that it would cost in excess of $250,000 to duplicate today. She has served me well and is ready for new owners with dreams of distant shores.

Promise was offered for sale through a broker in 2010. There was considerable interest but no buyer at the $74500 asking price. I would consider offers well below that now.
